Textbook Information

The required textbook for the course is Single Variable Calculus: Early Transcendentals (3rd Edition), by Rogawski and Adams; published by W.H. Freeman and Company; 2015. You can buy a physical copy of the textbook in the UCSD Bookstore or you can buy ELECTRONIC ONLY access directly from WebAssign (after logging into WebAssign via TritonEd).

We will also use Sections 1-5 of the Math 20B Student Supplement.

Exam Information

Exam 1: 24 Oct 2018 (Wed) — Topics included are those from Oct 1 - Oct 17
Exam 2: 14 Nov 2018 (Wed) — The focus will be on topics from Oct 19 - Nov 7
Final: 10 Dec 2018 (Mon) — The final exam is cumulative and covers every topic from the course

Exam Locations

The midterm exams are 45 minutes, during normal class time, and in our usual lecture hall. The final exam is three hours long and it will be in either PETER 110 or SOLIS 107, depending on where your assigned seat. You can find your assigned seat in the TritonEd Grade Center (click on "My Grades" in TritonEd).
