These assignments will not be turned in and will be not graded; however, certain exam questions are based on textbook homework problems, so understanding the solutions to these problems should help you perform better on the exams. (Also, if you seek help from the instructor or TAs, they may do these problems instead of the online problems.)

Homework Zero (Review) (No due date)

Reading: Chapter 5, Sections 24. These sections were covered in Math 20A, and consequently this is review. Mathematics builds on previous concepts, and without a good understanding of these sections, you will struggle with the remainder of the course.
