Course description: Third course in a three-quarter sequence on complex analysis. Topics include: covering spaces, harmonic functions, the range of an analytic function.

Textbook: J. B. Conway, Functions of one complex variable I, 3nd edition, Springer, 1978. We will finish chapter IX, and cover chapters X and XII.


Homework: Homework is due by 5:00pm in the instructor's mailbox.

Qualifying exam: The complex analysis qualifying exam will be held on Tuesday, May 17th.

Grading: Your final grade will be partially determined by homework and performance on the qualifying exam.
