In order to help you study, here's a review of the concepts covered so far. The makeup problems are due at 5pm on Friday 10/29/2010 in the usual homework box.

You should try to do HW4 (the exercises from Chapter 4, both assigned and suggested) and Exercises 1-5 from Chapter 5.

In addition to the homework problems, you should also try to solve the suggested extra problems listed on the homework page. Since the first two homeworks did not have suggested extra problems, here's a list of exercises for Chapters 0 and 2.
  • Chapter 0: 2, 11, 13, 17, 22, 25, 28, 30, 49
  • Chapter 2: 1, 7, 13, 17, 18, 19, 21, 25, 33
You should also work through the rest of the exercises in Chapters 0-4 until you understand the concepts from each chapter THOROUGHLY.
