Extra problems:

  • Show that for any positive integer n we have 12+22+...+n2=n(n+1)(2n+1)/6.
  • Find the n-th left-endpoint approximation Ln of f(x)=x2 over the interval [0,1] and then find Ln converges to as n goes to infinity.
