bulletTest #1 is Friday, April 26.  Please bring a blue book.  Ali will hold a review session on Monday from 5:00 to 9:00 in HSS 2305A.

bulletOur lecture room has been moved to APM B412.
 
bulletThere will be discussion on Tuesday April 2 to discuss the first (practice) homework assignment. Discussion have been rescheduled for 5:00 - 7:30 PM in  [Even Newer Room] SOLIS 109.
 
bulletHomework should be turned into the drop box located in the Basement of the APM building. Please make sure you place your homework in the slot for your section of Math 140C.  The homework will be collected from the drop box on Wednesdays at  2pm.  Let it be made abundantly clear that no late homework will be accepted.
 

 
bulletImportant: Should you take this course? Math 140A-C is a rigorous introduction to real analysis in which concepts and proofs are emphasized more than techniques. Math majors may choose to take either Math 140AB or Math 142AB (Advanced Calculus), which is less theoretical. However, students who are contemplating graduate study in mathematics are advised to take Math140 rather than Math 142.

bulletImportant: Should you take this course? Math 140A-C is a rigorous introduction to real analysis in which concepts and proofs are emphasized more than techniques. Math majors may choose to take either Math 140AB or Math 142AB (Advanced Calculus), which is less theoretical. However, students who are contemplating graduate study in mathematics are advised to take Math140 rather than Math 142.

The first section will be held on Thursday, January 10.

The first homework assignment is due Friday January 11.

Test #1: Monday 1/28/2013 (11:00 - 11:50 AM, HSS 2150) in class.  Please bring a blue book or paper.  This test covers the material on homework's 1- 3. on topology.

bulletOur TA, Ali,  would like to change the section time and day to Wednesdays from 5:30 -- 7:30PM in APM 7421.  (Ali will still go to the Thursday Section time as well for now.)
 
bulletAli will hold a review session for the first midterm in APM B412 from 5-9 on Friday, January 25.
