• No homework assignment for Week 8.
• Assignment 3 is due Friday April 25,  2014.
• In Homework #2 you may put Resnick  #8.8.4  into the look at list.
• Note: New Class location is APM 7421.
• Homework Assignment 1 is due Wednesday April 9,  2014.  See beginning of Lecture Notes for the assignment.

Math 280B (Winter 2014) Course Announcements

• Please see the homework page for a couple of corrections to two of the problems.
• Here are the details of the conditional expectation example covered at the end of class on Friday, February 14, 2014.
• Homework 3 is now posted and is due Wednesday, February 5, 2014.
• There will be no class on Friday, January 31, 2014.  Bo Li will be covering classes on January 27 and 29, 2014.
• Homework 2 is now due on Friday, January 24, 2014.
• We do have a TA for the course so homeworks will be collected on Wednesdays.
• Office hours on Monday January 13 will be moved to 12-1PM (sorry about that).

  • Assignment 8 is  due Friday, December 6, 2013
  • Assignment 7 is now due Wednesday, November 27, 2013 (New due date.)
  • Assignment 6 is due Friday, (November 8, 2013) November 15. I have added a couple of problems to the assignment as well.
    
  • For homework #5, I have decided to make Exercises 5.3. and 5.4 from the lecture notes "look at but do not turn in problems."
    
  • We do have a TA for the course so homeworks will be collected on Fridays.
