-
- Homework will be assigned and collected on Wednesday's lectures,
graded partially, and returned in the following Tuesday discussion sessions.

here for the assignments.
-
Note: Please print your names, student ID nubmers, and discussion
section numbers on your homework.
Please stable together your homework pages.
-
Note: no late homework will be accepted
unless a written verification of a valid excuse (such as hospitalization,
family emergency, religious observance, court appearance, etc.) is provided.
-
-
Matlab sessions meet on Thursdays (the same hour of your regular discuss session). There will be
five Matlab assignments, each of them due the following
Tuesday discussion session.
Here is the link to the Matlab
Sessions and Assignments.
Exams
- There will be two midterm and one final, close-book and close-note exams.
No calculators will be allowed in these exams.
The final exam will be cumulative.
Midterm exam 1: Friday, January 30, 10:00 am - 10:50 am, Pepper Canyon Hall 106.
Midterm exam 2: Friday, February 27, 10:00 am - 10:50 am, Pepper Canyon Hall 106.
Final exam: 8:00 am - 10:59 am, Friday, March 20, Pepper Canyon Hall 106.
- Note: neither rescheduled nor make-up exams will be
allowed unless a written verification of a valid excuse (such as hospitalization,
family emergency, religious observance, court appearance, etc.) is provided.
Grading
- The final course grade will be determined based on the homework and exams
with the weights: regularl homework - 10%, Matlab - 10% (each of the eight assignments
is of 1% and the Matlab final is of 2%),
midterm exam 1 - 20%, midterm exam 2 - 20%, and the final exam - 40%.
The grades will be curved within the entire section B00.
