Welcome to the course webpage for Math 20c - Winter 2017. Here you can find all the information and resources you will need for the class. Click one of the links below to get started.
(3/16/2017 - 11:05p): I've uploaded the full set of lecture notes for this class to the class calendar page. Be wary of typos / small mistakes. I owe a debt of gratitude to: Corey Stone for brainstorming interesting examples, Alireza Salehi Golsefidy for his support and guidance, and John Eggers for his mentorship. I especially thank Richard R. Mitchell for teaching me vector calculus ten years ago. His influence is clearly present in these notes.
(1/30/2017 - 8:50p): Warning: When the book (and hence Webassign) writes "log(x)", they mean the natural logarithm, ln(x). In modern math it is very common to do this. It is actually somewhat uncommon to use the notation "ln(x)".
(1/13/2017 - 5:30p): I've started uploading notes on the Calendar page. These notes are in "rough draft" form and do not perfectly reflect what we did in class. I also write them on my laptop, so I apologize for the terrible handwriting.
