Special memorial day Homework 8 is available. Also, There is a quiz this Friday, June 1. The quiz will focus on the latter part of Information Theory (spurious keys and unicity distance, entropy of English, etc.) and Public Key Cryptography (RSA, discrete logs, ElGamal, factoring, primality testing, Diffie-Hellman, etc.)
The Computer Assignment is due Friday June 1 by midnight. Please remember to play around with the applets in the programs section of the website before tackling the computer assignment. There you will find detailed instructions about using the applets to break the various cryptosystems.
