Course description: We will continue our study of perfectoid fields, the tilting equivalence, and its applications to Galois representations and (phi,Gamma)-modules. In the first 4 talks of the seminar we will go through Chapter 1 of Kedlaya's paper New methods for (phi,Gamma)-modules, Res. Math. Sci. 2 (2015), Art. 20, 31 pp. (available below). The second part will focus on Kedlaya's lecture notes Sheaves, Shtukas, and Stacks for the 2017 Arizona Winter School, as they become available.
