  • Tues Sept 6 -- drive to Chaco Culture Nat. Hist. Park (map); Pueblo Alto trail.
  • Wed Sept 7 -- Chetro Ketl; tour of Pueblo Bonito with ranger GB Cornucopia; Penasco Blanco trail.
  • Thurs Sept 8 -- Pueblo Bonito on our own; South Mesa trail (Casa Rinconada); drive to Cortez, CO.
  • Fri Sept 9 -- Mesa Verde Nat. Park: tour of Cliff Palace, Spruce Tree House trail; encounter storm of biblical wrath at Bluff, UT; drive through Monument Valley to AZ.
  • Sat Sept 10 -- drive home from Phoenix
