Math 142b Spring 2014

The final exam on Thurs. 6/12 at 11:30am-2:30pm will cover up through and including Section 9.5 of the text, and is cumulative.
Please bring a blue book and your UCSD ID, and you are allowed to bring one sheet of notes, both sides.

Sample Final
(Ignore problem #5 on this exam. It is the same as Exercise 8.4 #1, which presumably was assigned that quarter but was not assigned this quarter, and is not a reasonable problem if you have not seen it before). Any final exam can only have problems about some selected portion of the topics covered in the course. You should not take which topics are covered on this sample final as an indication of which topics will appear on our final. You should study all of the past homeworks, as well as the past midterms and the main definitions and theorems in the text and your notes. The final will be approximately the length of two midterms (6-7 problems).
