A Peregrine falcon family at Coast Walk near La Jolla Cove
On a beautiful Spring day (5/18/2011), I walked with Russell to look for the Peregrine falcon family
that I heard was nesting at the cliff below Coast Walk near La Jolla Cove.
I couldn't believe our good luck to succeed at the first try. Within fifty feet
from our yard, we spotted a baby Peregrine who was apparently quite wet
after a dip.

The next day, shortly after getting up in the morning,
I saw one Peregrine flew right toward me within twenty feet
of the window.
