Computation of grade: The grade is computed from your scores in the final (50%), 1 midterm (20%), the best 3 of 4 quizzes (20%) and homework (10%).

Dates of exams:

Quizzes: 4/20, 5/4, 5/25, last one to be determined

Midterm: 5/11

Homeworks need to be turned in on 4/12, 4/26, 5/24 and 6/7, of which selected problems will be graded. It is very important that you also do the homework problems if they need not be turned in as the quiz and most of the exam problems will be variations of homework problems.
