WileyPLUS Information
In order to access your online homework assignments, you will need to purchase a WileyPLUS code together with your textbook.
There are two ways to do so:
- You may purchase the looseleaf textbook plus access code together at the UCSD bookstore for a total of $150.75 (or the full hardback textbook plus access code for a total of $273.50).
- Note: Since the bookstore does also sell the textbook without the Wiley Plus access code, please be very careful to ask a salesperson to confirm that you are buying the package that includes the book AND the code.
- You may purchase the WileyPLUS code online using the link provided below. The price is $119.50, but it does not include a hard copy of the textbook, just online access to the ebook version.
WileyPLUS Registration Instructions: Regardless of whether you buy your access code at the bookstore or online, in order to gain access to the homework problems, you need to register online at
http://www.wileyplus.com/class/505909 (Information Flyer)
Important: We have merged the online homework for both Math 20D lectures, so students for both Dilts and Eggers can register at the above link, but:
- Please register using your UCSD email address and Student ID. If you register using gmail or some other account, then your homework scores may be lost!
WileyPLUS assignments: Here is the key information regarding your online homework assignments.
- All assignments are available as of 5:00pm PST on March 28, 2016 (the first day of Spring Quarter).
- There are a total of nine assignments. Each assignment has two parts: a "fill-in-the-blank" component and a "multiple choice" component.
- You have unlimited attempts on "fill-in-the-blank" questions and you have THREE attempts for each "multiple choice" question.
- Online homework problems may be completed after the due dates; however, there is a late penalty of 50%. This penalty is applied only to the problems which are submitted late, and not to the entire assignment.
- You must also take a "Syllabus Quiz" that tests your reading of the syllabus. There are eight questions and you get one attempt at each. You may have the syllabus open when you take the quiz.
