course description: the course is an introduction to number theory covering the first four chapters of the text An Introduction to Number Theory by Harold Stark.
grading: grading will be based on daily homework (20%), two midterms (10% and 20%) and a final exam (50%).
exams: the midterms will be on Wednesdays July 9 and 23 and the final will be on Saturday August 2nd.
