books.notes

We will be following the book entitled Single Variable Calculus 4th Edition by Hughes-Hallet, Gleason and McCallum et al. It is essential that you possess the 4th edition of this text (hardcover or softcover), in order to have the correct list of homework exercises. In addition, the hardcover version is good if you are doing 10A, 10B and 10C. The exercises are listed on Chris Deotte's webpage.

Exams.Grades

There will be about five assignments, and a handful of questions to submit for marks. They count ten percent of your final grade. There will be two midterms held during classes, on Friday 25th April and Friday 23rd May at 3pm in Center Hall 115. A short quiz will be held on Wednesday 7th May in class. This will not count for marks, but will give you an idea of how you are doing. Final grade for the course is computed as

10% ASSIGNMENTS + 40% MIDTERMS + 50% FINAL

The final exam is on Wednesday June 11th from 3pm-6pm in Centre Hall 115.
