I am starting my third year as a postdoc in the UCSD Math Department.

I am interested in algebraic geometry and am working here under James McKernan. I finished my PhD in June 2018 at the University of Washington under Sándor Kovács. To learn more about my research, click on "Research".

You can find my current course information under "Teaching".

Recently, I wrote up some advice for anyone on the job market in Fall 2020. You can find it here. Inspired by this and many other discussions, Andrew Kobin and I are hosting a series of lunches for early career mathematicians to highlight issues we are facing during the current pandemic. Anyone is welcome to attend! The list of discussion topics, participants, and registration information can be found here. Please join us! If you have questions, comments, or suggestions, please reach out to Andrew or me.

I have two dogs. To see more pictures of them, click on "Dogs".
