- 06/05/2008: Midterm II solutions have been scanned, here are two copies:

- 06/03/2008: Midterm II has been graded. Exams will be returned in
the next recitation sections. Please note that regrade requests must be
made before you leave the recitation section. Also, we reserve the
right to regrade the whole exam when a regrade request has been made. Look at the Exam Scores section below for statistics.
- 06/03/2008: The 9th assignment is out. This assignment is provided only to help you learn
new material covered in class as you prepare for finals. In particular, it will NOT be counted towards your final
grade.
- 06/01/2008: The 8th assignment is due Monday, June 08, at 8am.
- 05/23/2008: No homework has been assigned for next week. Therefore, no assignment is due Monday, June 2.
- 05/17/2008: Shoaib will be holding extra office hours on Wednesday, May 21 from 3pm to 5pm(in AP&M 6446).
- 05/17/2008: Recitation sections on Thursday, May 22 have been cancelled(just this week).
- 05/17/2008: The 7th assignment is due Monday, May 26, at 8am. We strongly suggest that you work on this assignment before the midterm(May 22) as it deals with material that may be on the exam.
- 05/11/2008: The 6th assignment is due Monday, May 19, at 8am.
- 05/04/2008: The 5th assignment is due Monday, May 12, at 8am.
- 04/29/2008: Shoaib's office hours this week have been moved to 3-5pm on wednesday(this week only).

- 04/17/2008: Midterm I will be held on thursday 04/24/08
12:30-1:30pm at the usual classroom. You will be examined on the
following material from Ferguson: part I, sections 1-4 and part II,
section 1.
- 04/17/2008: Note - technical problems about homeworks may not be
answered after 8pm Sunday. If you have trouble submitting homework
after that, send your answers via email to mjamall@math.ucsd.edu.
Office hours, lectures and recitations are best for deeper questions.
- 04/17/2008: Note - from now on, homework answers will be made available on WebWork one whole day after the due date.
- 04/14/2008: The 3rd assignment is due Monday, April 21, at 8am.
