It is extremely important that you follow these in order to receive credit for your lab work.
Put your name and section number at the top of your write-up, preferably in a large font. Without this your grade might not get recorded and you might not receive credit for your write-up.
Include the lab number.
Do the problems in the order in which they are assigned, and number each problem.
Turn in a printed Microsoft Word document showing your work.
Include the MATLAB code that generated your plot or data.
Take the time to make your write-up coherent. If we can't understand what you are saying we may not give you full credit.
Try to pick up your graded lab write-ups so that you can see the feedback of the grader and not repeat the same mistakes on future write-ups.
Turn in only work that you have produced yourself. For details on academic integrity click here.
Email your write-up to your TA. It will not be accepted.
Print it out on a dot matrix printer. It will not be accepted.
Turn in a photo-copy, or a scanned copy of your lab write-up. Only original printouts will be accepted.
Hand in the write-up late (in this case after the beginning of the Tuesday section following the Thursday on which you did the lab). It will not be accepted.
Hand in the printout of your actual MATLAB notebook showing every single input and output. These are extremely hard to follow by everyone except yourself, and will not receive full credit.
