The Calculus Community website has a couple useful
features. The most important one is the forum (after you log in, click 'discussion forum') - I'll be
checking it frequently to answer questions and my hope is that you can start to answer other
classmates' questions.
OASIS (Office of Academic Support and Instructional Services)
provides free tutoring and can help you improve your study habits. They also have workshops for
most of the lower division math courses. You can find the Fall 2009 list
here. There is a Math 4C
workshop scheduled for Monday/Wednesday from 12:00 - 1:50 pm. More information on workshops is
available here.
For those of you who missed the first lecture, I scanned in one of our student's
lecture notes for Sept. 24. It doesn't give the full picture of what happened
but hopefully it'll help. Ask a fellow student or me if you need more information about Thursday's lecture.
You can find hints or pointers to many of the homework problems here. This list
is provided as-is - some problems may not be listed and others might not be problems that are assigned.
Hopefully this will be enough of a push in the right direction if you're getting stuck!
I will add more links if the opportunity arises. If there's something useful you've seen, let me
know and I'll put it up!
