Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Nitya Kitchloo (Nitu to friends) and I am an Associate Professor in the math department at UCSD, La Jolla, CA.

I finished my Ph.D (June '98) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the direction of Haynes Miller. In my thesis I studied the topology of certain infinite dimensional topological groups known as Kac-Moody groups.

  • Here is my CV.
  • Here is my research statement.

This term I am scheduled to teach Math 20D: Introduction to Differential Equations..
