Announcements
- 06-06-2008 - The practice final is posted.
- 06-05-2008 - Oded's finals week office hours: Tues, Wed from 2-3:30pm. Daniel's finals week office hours: Mon 3-5pm and Thurs 12-3.
- 06-05-2008 - Here are the midterm 2 stats: average ~ 63, standard deviation ~ 20. In letter grades that means: 86 ~ A, 74 ~ B, 62 ~ C+, 50 ~ D. Remember that these are only provisional grades. The real curving only happens at the end of the quarter after you've taken the final exam. In any case this should give you a pretty good idea of where you stand.
- 06-01-2008 - Daniel's office hours tomorrow (Monday, June 2) are cancelled. Check back for information regarding office hours on finals week.
- 05-27-2008 - HW 9 is posted. This is the last one!!!
- 05-20-2008 - HW 8 is posted. It's a short assignment :)

- Midterm 2 is in class on May 21. The midterm will cover the material in homeworks 2-6. Be sure to bring blue books, and no notes nor calculator allowed.
- Practice Midterm 2 and Homework 7 are posted.
- Friday's lecture on May 16 is cancelled due to Sun God. Instead Oded will be holding office hours from 2-4pm in APM 5157.
- Oded's office hours during week 8 (the week of midterm 2) are: Monday: 10am-Noon. He will not hold office hours Wed. and Friday.
- 05-05-2008 - Oded's office hours on Wed. May 7 are cancelled. He will instead have office hours from 12:30-1:30 on Friday, in addition to the usual 3-4 slot on Friday.

- 04-27-2008 - Homework #5 is posted.
- 04-22-2008 - The average score on midterm 1 is 78/100 and the standard deviation is about 10 points. As a rough guide a 78 is about a B-, an 88 is about an A-, a 68 is about a C-. Take this with a grain of salt since the curve will really be decided after your final exam is graded.

- 04-06-2008 - Homework 2 (due April 15) is posted.
- 04-02-2008 - Oded's office number under "Contact and Office Hours" was wrong. It is now corrected. Also, office hours are posted.
- 04-01-2008 - No sections today. But make sure to do Homework 0!
