Grading: Your course grade will be made up of several components. There will be 3 quizzes, 2 tests, and a final exam. Your final grade will be based on a score computed as

Your lowest test score will be replaced by your final exam score if your final exam score is higher. Final grades may be mildly curved.

Final Exam: Thursday June 11, 2009, 3:00pm to 6:00pm in the rooms listed below.

Course Policies:

• Homework is not collected.
• Quizzes are closed book.
• You can bring a single notebook-sized page of notes to the tests and final exam, but are closed book otherwise.
• Calculators are NOT allowed during quizzes, tests, or the final exam.
• There will be NO makeup or early quizzes, tests, or exams.
• Grade change requests must be handed in to the professor, in writing, with a deadline one week from the date the quiz or test in question was first returned.

Final Exam Day Instructions:

• If your last name begins with a letter between A and K (inclusive) you will take your exam in Center 115.
• If your last name begins with a letter between L and Z (inclusive) you will take your exam in Center 101.
• Unless you are seated in the first 4 rows, you must leave an empty chair between you and any neighbors.
