Naranjo de Bulnes (Picu Urriellu)

This is the East face of "Naranjo de Bulnes", a 300 m. wall (~1000 f.) in the heart of Picos de Europa. The picture was taken late in a morning of august. We had planned to climb "Rabadá-Navarro" in the West face, but it was crowded and we had to resign with "Martínez-Somoano" in the East face. Can you see four guys on the wall? (zoom). The one who is now second in the route "Cepeda" (right hand side) leaded the following pitch and suffered a good fall. In the next picture, taken from a belay just in the middle of the wall, you will see Estiry in one of the nicest passages of our route.
