Instructions
In order to run this game, you must have the glut .dll files on your computer. Unpack the zip archive and double click the .exe file.
To play Pacman, move the yellow Pacman around with the ijkl keys and try to eat all the yellow dots. If you get touched by a ghost, the game will end. If you eat a super dot, you can eat the ghosts and they will temporarily return to the holding cage in the middle. Eat all the dots and you win!
Controls
- i,j,k,l - Move Pacman around screen. i moves up, j moves left, k moves down, and l moves right. If chase mode is completed, j will move left, l with move right and k will move backwards while in chase view.
- f - Toggle between fast and slow mode. Default fast
- c - Toggle culling of back faces. Default on.
- w - Toggles wireframe mode. Default off. Turning on will slow rendering.
- R - Increase angle step size. Can be used to look at field from different angles, left over from project 4
- r - Reduce angle step size.
- v - Enable chase view. Working, but sorta buggy
- 1,2,3 - Turn on and off lights. Default only light 1 (white light) is on. Lights 2 and 3 are yellow and red, respectively. Left over from p4.
- s - Toggle smooth shading. Default on.
- h - Change between positional or local lighting
- Arrow Keys - Change the rotation and azimuth. Makes moving with ijkl difficult (if field is turned upside down)
- Esc - Exit
