Directions to the UCSD campus and
the AP&M building (Department of Mathematics).
Parking on the UCSD Campus is free on weekends
and costs $8/day during the week. You may park in any of the parking lots next to the
AP&M building. During the weekend you may park in any space which is not marked
"reserved" or "A parking only." On Friday you may purchase your parking permit at any
of the pay-stations located at the entrance of the parking lots and can use it to park
in the spaces marked S or B. For a campus map, please click on map.
Registration: There is no registration fee.
However, if you are interested in participating, please fill in the blank fields below
and click on the "Submit Registration Information" button below in order to register
for the conference. This will help the organizers make proper catering
arrangements.
Funding: Partial funding (covering hotel and
travel expenses) is available for participants who reside in the United States, with an
emphasis on young researchers and those who do not have any NSF support. In order to
apply for funding, please send an e-mail message to scntd@math.ucsd.edu with the subject "Stark
conference funding" and an estimate of your travel/lodging expenses by July 15, 2013. Please attach a brief CV in PDF format.
Conference Dinner: There will be a conference
dinner on Saturday at 6:30pm, hosted by the UCSD Faculty Club. The cost is $30/person
for faculty and $20/person for graduate students.
Hotels: The Del Mar Inn, the
La Jolla Shores Hotel and the Marriott
Residence Inn La Jolla offer discounted rates to UCSD visitors. We strongly
encourage younger participants to consider sharing a room.
