Announcements

(12-2-10) The Math 10A final exam exam will be held from 7:00pm to 10:00pm on Tuesday, December 7. You should sit for the exam in the room scheduled for the lecture in which you are enrolled. The locations for the exam are listed below. Please remember to bring a photo ID to the exam. You may also bring one page of handwritten notes, but no calculators or books are allowed.

(10-8-10) Great news! The publishers of the Math 10A textbook have just offered to give all Math 10A students acccess to the online component of the textbook, Wiley Plus, for free this quarter. Here is a flyer with a little info about Wiley Plus, as well as instructions for how to register and gain access. You are not required to use Wiley Plus, but it might be a helpful additional resource. For example, you can take "quizzes" for each section with instant feedback, and there are also extra study aids as well as an online solutions manual. Check it out!
(10-4-10) Please note the following change to your hw from 1.5: Problems 28 and 30 have been eliminated and problem 32 has been added. The course homework page has been updated to record this change.
(9-21-10) Please note that the final examination for Math 10A is on Tuesday, Dec 7 from 7-10pm. It is not possible to reschedule the Math 10A final, so you should not enroll in Math 10A if you have a conflict and cannot sit for the final at its scheduled time.
(9-20-10) A "binder ready" version of the Math 10A textbook is available at the website http://wileybookstore.com/UCSD for a reduced price.
(9-04-10) Welcome to Math 10A! Your Math 10A discussion sections will not meet on Thursday, Sep. 23 (Week 0). Your first Math 10A discussion section will meet on Thursday, Sep. 30 (Week 1).
