- (12-8-17) The Math 10A final exam will be on Monday, Dec. 11 from 7-10pm. You do not need
to bring a blue book to the
exam, but please make sure to bring your student ID. As usual, you may bring one handwritten page of notes. Here are
the exam locations:

- (12-8-17) Here are solutions to
the Fall 2015 final exam which is posted in the academic links
section below. Please note these corrections to the answers (Thanks to
Angelina for pointing these out!):
- In 3a, f '(x) has a sign error. It should be (1/4)*1/x^(3/4). So the correct right hand side of the linear approximation is: 2+(1/32)*(x-16)
- Correcting 3a as above, for 3b we get: 2+(1/32)*(.08)=2+1/400=801/400
- For problem 4, f '(x) should be 3Ax^2+10x. So the answer for 4a should be A=10.
- The answer for 4b is correctly written as local max, even thought the A value was wrong in 4a.
- For 4c, the answer should be x=-1/6.

- (11-30-17) Here is a review outline for the final exam. We hope it will help you to guide your studying.
