My name is Woonam Lim. I am a fourth year Ph.D. student in the department of mathematics at the University of California San Diego. My advisor is Dragos Oprea. Before moving to San Diego, I got my B.S. in mathematics education at Seoul National University. Here is my CV.

I work in algebraic geometry. Specifically, I am interested in virtual invariants of sheaf-theoretic moduli spaces on surfaces.

Seminars

I organized Enumerative Geometry seminar at UCSD.

Spring 2020: We plan to study enumerative geometry of K3 surfaces. See here.

Winter 2020: We studied Hilbert scheme of points on surfaces and Beauville-Voisin conjecture for HyperKahler varieties. See here.

Fall 2019: We studied Vafa-Witten invariants of surfaces. See here.
