About me

Since July 2019 I am an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) at UCSD.

I completed my PhD studies in October 2015 at the University of Zurich under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Camillo De Lellis. I was a Postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the sciences, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Emanuele Spadaro and a CLE Moore Instructor at MIT under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tobias Colding and Prof. Dr. William Minicozzi

My main areas of interest are Calculus of Variations, Partial Differential Equations and Geometric Analysis, with a particular focus on the study of regularity of solutions using methods from Geometric Measure Theory.

Here is my CV

I support Federico Ardila's axioms:

  1. Mathematical talent is distributed equally among different groups, irrespective of geographic, demographic, and economic boundaries.
  2. Everyone can have joyful, meaningful, and empowering mathematical experiences.
  3. Mathematics is a powerful, malleable tool that can be shaped and used differently by communities to serve their needs.
  4. Every student deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.
