About Me
A selection of things I love aside from math:
- My wife, Kate, whom I married in 2011.
- Teaching: I love teaching math and music at many different levels.
- Music: I play five instruments, and I enjoy composing music (both by hand and procedurally). I've performed solo, as well as in marching bands, symphonic bands, string ensembles, choirs, handbell choirs, church praise bands, jazz bands, and percussion ensembles.
- Sports: I particularly enjoy ultimate frisbee (rain or shine), ping pong, and soccer. (I played on intramural-champion teams for each of these sports at Clemson University.)
