There will be 4 MATLAB HW assignments and 1 MATLAB Quiz this quarter.
MATLAB portion total counts 10% of your cumulative final grade. Here is the breakdown: 6% MATLAB HW (4 in total);
4% MATLAB quiz.

The quiz will be offered on Canvas from Wednesday to Thursday in Week 10. It will be available in 48 hours.
The quiz starts the first time you access the quiz and ends after 60 minutes. For more details, see

Clearly one needs some kind of devices to run MATLAB. A computer would be the best but a Chromebook or
an iPad also works. Detailed instructions on how to use MATLAB at home (including how to register and install) can be found on
the Math 20D MATLAB webpage.
For any technical questions regarding MATLAB, your TAs will be able to assistant you in office hours. Half of their office hours are
supposed to answer questions on MATLAB.

The Lab sections shown on class schedules or webreg do not mean anything during the pandemic and students do not need to attend them.
