I am a first year math PhD student at UC San Diego. My research interests are in combinatorics, and I am particularly interested in (spectral) graph theory and extremal combinatorics. I am currently reading with Fan Chung-Graham and Jacques Verstraete. My CV can be found here.

With Jason O'Neill I co-organize the Graduate Student Combinatorics Seminar at UCSD. For more info, see here.

Papers and Preprints:

  1. Random Paperclip Graphs (with Daniël Kroes). In Preparation.

  2. Ballot Permutations, Odd Order Permutations, and a New Permutation Statistic. Submitted, 2018.

  3. Saturation Games for Odd Cycles. Submitted, 2018.

  4. Polynomial Relations Between Matrices of Graphs. Journal of Graph Theory, 2018.

  5. Forbidden Families of Minimal Quadratic and Cubic Configurations (with Attila Sali). The Electronic Journal of Combinatorics, 2017.

Teaching

For the Fall 2018 quarter I will be TAing Math 110A and Math 202A. My office hours for Math 110A will be 12:00-2:00 on Fridays, and my office hours for Math 202A will be 3:00-3:50 on Tuesdays. I am also available by appointment.
