Math 10A Written Homework
There are two types of homework assignments in this course, online homework (which will be
graded and is posted on Canvas) and good old
fashioned written textbook homework (which will not be graded).
The written textbook exercises are not required, but you are encouraged to work through
them. There are
many exercises included in this list. It is recommended that you work through as many as you
can / are able. Working through
exercises is a good way to become proficient and develop understanding. Also, exam questions
are sometimes based on textbook
exercises, so understanding the solutions to these problems should help you perform better on
the exams.
