Gradescope Login: Log into Gradescope using the "Gradescope" link in Canvas.

The name of our Gradescope course is "MATH180B_SP20_A00". All students enrolled in the course are automatically enrolled in this Gradescope course. (But make sure to access Gradescope using the link in Canvas the first time you log in.)

You will submit your own homework assignments in this course. Gradescope has provided a helpful guide to scanning and submitting your assignment as a PDF.

Guidelines for submission through Gradescope:

bulletSubmissions must be PDF files.
bulletIf your homework is handwritten, you must upload a scanned document.
bulletYou may type your homework (using LaTeX, for example) and save your file as a PDF.
bulletYou may write your solutions using a tablet device.
bullet All homework is due at 11:00 P.M.
bulletGradescope will ask you to match each of the exercises with the page on which your solution for that exercise appears.
bullet For more information, download the Gradescope how-to PDF.

Due Dates: All homework is due at 11:00 P.M. We will allow the first homework (only) to be submitted up to two days late (without penalty). This is to allow for the fact that students may be unfamiliar with the system and may experience some technical issues during the first submission. But this is a one-time only rule. After the first homework, no homework will be accepted late. Please understand that exceptions will not be made because it is unfair to the other students and may cause an undue burden to the grader.
