Biography

Education: Dr. Warnke earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Oxford
University in 2012.

Research: Dr. Warnke works in combinatorics and his interests include
random graphs and processes, phase transitions, and combinatorial
probability (as well as applications to extremal combinatorics, Ramsey
theory, and related areas).

He is the recipient of the Dénes König Prize, 2016 for his work in
combinatorics and an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship in
2018. Furthermore, he received the 2014 Richard Rado Prize and a 2020
NSF CAREER Award.

Prior to UC San Diego: Dr. Warnke was a junior research fellow at
Peterhouse, Cambridge University until 2016. He thereafter moved as an
Assistant Professor to Georgia Tech, where he was promoted to
Associate Professor with tenure in 2021.
