CoCalc

Info about CoCalc.

Math Faculty/Instructors

  • CoCalc for Instruction — To use CoCalc for an official Registrar-listed MATH course, please submit a CINFO Request to ETS and request an appropriate CoCalc Course Package (e.g. 1 "Standard Large Course" for up to 250 students) for your expected student enrollment and workload. Contact mathhelp@ucsd.edu for questions about the CINFO process.
    • Past instructors have reported that the "Standard" plans with the "Member Hosting" + "Shared RAM" + "Shared CPU" upgrades provide sufficient performance improvements over the "Free" and "Basic" plans for class purposes. Since an UCSD academic quarter is 11-weeks long and spans across 3-months, it's usually most cost effective to purchase a "4-months" course plan block and special request that it start at beginning of the quarter. CoCalc pricing subject to change.
  • CoCalc for Research — Register and login to CoCalc for free and test your code first. Review the latest CoCalc Pricing. Determine which Personal Subscription Plan or Dedicated VM option is appropriate for your workload and budget. Contact mathhelp@ucsd.edu for more information.
